Instead of Worrying, Make THIS Your Priority

In Matthew 6, Jesus tells his followers to not be anxious or worried about their lives in this age, but instead to “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness” – to look ahead with anticipation to all that God had promised in his covenants with Israel. Even 21st century Gentiles who have been given the Spirit have much to learn from these words of Jesus. Though God has not promised deliverance from trials and difficulties today, confidence and certainty regarding the age to come is his remedy for anxiety in this present evil age.
