   1. God’s original design-very good, harmony Genesis 1:31, 2:21-25
   2. Confession of our demise-very depraved, enmity Genesis 3:1-21(Colossians 2:20-23)
   3. Exalting our Deliverer by following in His steps, suffering to enter His glory Genesis 3:15, 1 Peter 2:20-21, 4:1-7
2. Setting your affections in hope by fleeing the wrath to come
   1. Colossians 3:1-7, Matthew 3:7, John 1:29, 3:36, 1 Thessalonians 1:10, Hebrews 6:18

III. Setting your affections for affliction that will produce an eternal glory

1. Setting our affections- Matthew 16:21-28
