One Hope. One Boast. Worship Album

As followers of Christ, we have one hope (Eph. 4:3): the Second Coming of Jesus  (Tit. 2:13) and all that it entails (resurrection from the dead, restoration of all things, inheritance of the Messiah’s kingdom, etc.). In view of that hope, we are summoned in this age to make our boast in one thing alone — the cross of our Messiah (Gal. 6:14) — as we follow in the footsteps of His sufferings (Mt. 16:24-27). The purpose of this album is to provide the saints with songs that, God willing, will help anchor them in these fundamental realities of the gospel.

Below is the list of songs for this album. Each song has it’s own individual web page where you can view it’s description, lyrics, chords and download each song separately. For some you can even watch a short video for chord progression and strum. If you would like to download the entire album in one download versus each song separately, right click the link directly below and choose “Save Link As…”

Master Jesus, thank for Your great mercy, kindness, and faithfulness through all the journeys that form the context of these songs. Until we see You face-to-face at Your appearing, may we make our boast in Your cross alone!

Emily, I am honored to be your husband. What a joy it is to sojourn with you toward the New Jerusalem, my love! Thank you for your love, friendship, and commitment to the way of the cross. Thank you also for the patience you have shown me through all the various stages of this project. Faith, Haven, Neely, and Mercy, my joys—girls, I love you more than you could ever know. I can’t tell you how much of a joy it has been to watch you dance to these songs the last few years! Let nothing ever move you from the hope of the gospel, my children. Mom, Corey and Hollie, Jay and Becca—thank you for loving us so well, and for standing with us through the birthing phase of this album!

Many of the songs on this album were initially conceived in context to small group prayer meetings and community living. I am now convinced that if believers living in close proximity to one another can keep the cross before them (and have their own bathroom), they can get through just about anything together! Bethany Campus Small Group Friends, Terry and Kerry, Nathaniel and Mar, Jen, Jamie and Angela—thank your for your passion for Jesus and for our sweet times of fellowship together. I remember how stirred my heart was when we first sang “Fresh wind, fresh fire” together.  Henry and Aneliz Bruno, Nance Cogshall—our time in downtown Minneapolis with you guys through one of the most severe Minnesota winters on record will always have a special place in our hearts! We cherish the songs and all the memories that came forth from that season. Thank You for giving us the honor of “watching and praying” with you, and for modeling the way of the cross to us. We love you guys! Richee and Grace Parks, you are true examples of Christ crucified. Thank you for modeling what it means to “leave Babylon behind” in pursuit of “the city with foundations.” Our time with you in Duluth was more precious than you’ll ever know. Thank you for loving us so well, and for allowing us to be a part of your lives! John and Lydia Harrigan–- words can’t begin to describe how thankful we are for you! Thank you so much for not giving up on us through all the trials and the joys that form the life context of these songs. We would have never made it without you, dear friends! Your influence on this project will be quickly apparent to those who know you.  To the countless others of you who have touched our lives in so many different ways—we love you! Thank you for being a part of our lives!

This project would never have come about without the support of those of you who sowed into it self-sacrificially out of your own supply. You know who you are. May the Lord reward you richly in His coming kingdom of glory!

I also want to extend thanks to the amazing team that God brought together for the production of this album. Roger Davila—you are a true servant of the living God and an inspiration to many! Thank you for sowing into this project with your gifts. May the glory to be bestowed on you in the age to come shine ever more brightly because of your labors! Selby family—what a joy to know a family willing to follow the voice of their Lord wherever He leads and no matter what the cost! Thank you for sowing into this project with your gifts. May the Lord reward all of you richly in the New Jerusalem! Josh Hawkins—what a blessing to know a man so full of love for the gospel entrusted once and for all to the saints! Thank you for sowing into this project with your gifts. May the Lord bless you richly in His coming kingdom! Josh Redford—what a joy it was to watch God take you in His hand and use you so powerfully in this project!  Thank you for loving the Lord with all your heart, and for sowing into this project with your gifts. May the Lord bless You richly on the day of His appearing! Omar Villacres—what an honor to know a man who has truly heeded the summons of his king to lay down his life in this age, that he might truly gain it in another! You and your family are such a blessing to us and to so many others. Thank you for sowing into this project with your gifts. May the Lord reward you richly for your labors of love as you wait patiently for the restoration of all things. Anthony De Pasquale – brother in Christ, this project couldn’t have become a reality without your labors of self-sacrifice! Thank you for sowing into this project with your gifts. May the Lord of glory reward you richly in the age to come for your time and efforts! Lindsey family—Alan, Tammy, Elisabeth, Rebekah, Caleb, Naomi, Timothy, and the rest of the family—I am so thankful that the Lord connected us the way He did! You are an amazing family, a model of Christ in so many ways. Caleb, thanks so much for all of your hard work through every phase of the engineering process. May the Lord continue using you powerfully in the days ahead! Thank you, Lindseys, for sowing into this project with your time, gifts, experience, and expertise. May our Master reward you richly when He appears in the sky with the holy angels!

As the Lord has given these songs to us freely, so we freely give them to you (Mt. 10:8). If you are reading this paragraph, consider yourself fully authorized to copy and share the music as much as you want and however the Holy Spirit leads you. All I ask, please, is that you share them freely at no personal profit, and that you use them in a way that the Lord Jesus Christ Himself would consider honorable and in accord with holy gospel entrusted to the saints. These songs are consecrated to Him and have been entrusted to His care and oversight. God bless you, dear saints of the Most High!
