In the midst of the curse, came a promise indiscreet
With enmity between the serpent and the seed
Of the woman he deceived, who would bring forth a son
“Whose heel you will bruise, but your head he will crush”
That ancient serpent, called the devil and satan
Gods Headship of the heavens, he’s always been hatin’
He said in his heart, he’ll ascend to the sky
Set up the throne, like the most high
But a son of Adam will end the perversion
His foot will rest on the neck of the usurper
Stamping out his rule, power, and authority
Bringing back the original order and glory
God will put it all underneath the feet
The work of his hands subjected to the seed
Who’s crowned with glory, blessing, and honor
Exalted to right hand of majesty and power
The seed of the woman will crush the serpents head
Thru the seed of Abraham every nation blessed
The seed of David will have a rule that never end
humanity’s hope wrapped up in one man
Though humanity rebelled, God had a plan
To bless every nation thru a man called Abraham
Who went out from his country and left it all behind
For the promise of blessing through his family line
The purpose of the covenant was bringing forth the Seed
Whose blessing is the ultimate restoring of all things
God called one man out from the nations
Designates one clan, with one language
To dwell in one land, and be the ones who
Bring forth the one the blessings will come through.
A people set apart among the nations they would be
Inheriting the promise, their calling is unique
The condition contingent to receive
Was repentance, submission, and belief
This extended to those who place faith in
The messiah, from every tribe, tongue, and nation
The seed of the woman will crush the serpents head
Thru the seed of Abraham every nation blessed
The seed of David will have a rule that never end
King David desired to build The Lord a house
But instead god gave him promises about
A throne set forever and a royal dynasty,
With The seed from his body established king
God would be his father, his rock of salvation
Exalting his firstborn above every nation
A throne, a scepter, a Kingdom from god
His reign characterized by justice and love
In righteousness, he will judge for the poor
Through the ages, His name shall endure
From the root of Jesse salvation has sprout
The Righteous Branch from the grave has come out
The fortune of Jacob the Seed will restore
The promise of his coming is certain and it’s sure
as the the rising of the sun, moon, stars in the sky
The descendent of David will reign from on High
