Gospel in the Stars

One of the most forgotten of God’s evangelistic strategies is the night sky. Many believers today feel nervous about contemplating the stars. Perhaps the biggest reason for this is that this realm of knowledge is typically associated in people’s minds with the New Age, the occult, and pagan mythologies. However, the Bible has a lot to say about the stars. When we examine the Scriptures closely, we see that pagan and New Age treatments of the stars are but corruptions and perversions of a message originally communicated by God to humanity concerning His plan of redemption. The heavens declare His glory (Ps. 19:1).
