<div>As we peer into the original design of Yahweh in creation, it is crucial to observe the priority and pursuit of maintaining this divine order and presence in daily life predicated upon submission and obedience to His commands.</div>

<li>The Table in Jewish Literature (Jubilees 8-9<sup>3</sup> – an exposition of Gen. 10) – containing two accounts of the division of the earth and explicit geography:</li>
<li>8:10-30 – Noah divides by lot: Shem = temperate “middle earth” / Asia; Ham = hot southern portion / Africa; and Japheth = the cold portion / Europe.</li>
<li>9:1-15 – Sons divide portions in the presence of Noah, who pronounces a curse for violating the boundaries of what was allotted.<sup>4</sup> After the scattering at Babel, Canaan obstinately against his father and brothers’ pleading, seizes a portion allotted to Shem, and is said to receive the curse which will lead to the fall of his children in the land (10:27-34).</li>
